Terms & Conditions
Please read before booking an activity with us. By booking you are agreeing to the following terms

Acknowledgement of Risk
Our Activities are “Assumed risk” sports that may carry attendant risks. Participants should be aware of and accept these risks, and be responsible for their own action and involvement.
Whilst on an RSP Off-Grid Adventure Centre (RSP) activity it is both the instructor and client’s duty to manage the risk of the activities. The very nature of adventure sports increases the likelihood of accidents occurring even with the greatest level of care. Clients must understand and accept the fact that adventure sports causes accidents ranging from minor injuries to fatalities. To reduce the likelihood of injury, clients must follow all instructions given by the instructors.

Assumption of Responsibility
Please read the activity description carefully to ensure that you are the correct level for the course. Get in touch if you are unsure and we can advise. If our instructors deem clients to be below the skill level described in the course info, RSP reserve the right to cancel their place on the activity. Clients must be physically fit for the activity they are booking on and must and declare any medical conditions however relevant they seem on the health waiver. Any new condition not stated on the form must be communicated to the instructor, before taking part in the activity.

Compliance with Safety Guidelines
Before taking part in an activity, all participants must attend a safety briefing, the briefing will cover essential safety information, including the use of equipment and emergency procedures. By taking part in an activity you agree to adhere to all safety instructions provided by the instructors and use the provided safety gear as directed. You must understand that any unsafe behaviour will result in immediate removal from the activity without a
refund.

Zero Alcohol & Drugs
To ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all participants and staff, the RSP strictly prohibits the use, possession, distribution, or influence of illegal drugs and alcohol on its premises, during activities, or in any accommodation provided by the centre. Violation of this policy may result in immediate removal from the programme and potential legal consequences. We encourage individuals with substance-related issues to seek support through our recommended resources.
Media Consent
At the RSP, participants are assumed to consent to media (photos, videos, audio recordings) captured during activities, which may be used for promotional purposes. For minors, this assumed consent extends from their parent or guardian. Participants can opt out at any time without affecting their involvement in activities, and their media will be stored securely, accessible only to authorized personnel. Consent can be revoked in writing at any time.

Release of Liability
Participants acknowledge that participating in activities at RSP involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, emotional distress, and property damage. By participating, they agree to release and discharge RSP, its owners, operators, employees, agents, and volunteers from any liability, claims, demands, or causes of action related to any loss, damage, or injury incurred during participation.

Insurance Recommendations
Even though RSP maintains comprehensive insurance coverage, we strongly recommend that all participants obtain their own personal insurance. This ensures that any potential risks, incidents, or unforeseen circumstances during our activities are adequately covered, providing participants with additional peace of mind and protection. While we prioritize safety and have relevant insurance in place, personal insurance adds an extra layer of security for participants.

Transport
Transport is not included in the RSP activity costs. It is common for instructors to use their personal vehicles to travel between activities, and participants may be required to use their vehicles as well. RSP will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles during a an activity. If transport is being provided by RSP then this will be advertised in the booking information
